Post Purchase service
Just bought a 95 850 wagon with 192k on it. Runs well and most items work. Has a fresh timing belt and water pump. besides oil, trans fluid, coolant and brake fluid changes, what other service items should I do right away? Dave
Hey Dave, it looks like you are not new to Volvo's. They have a service process called Stage 0. You may want to check the sticky for that and proceed from there.
I'd focus on repairs and air filter.

RSPI- We may have communicated on this forum before- I took about a 5 month break after my (very nice) 89 240 DL wagon was creamed in the side by a stop sign running Hundai. Drove a Caravan this winter.
We get a lot of snow up here so I thought the 850 would be a nice replacement. Got something loose on the front right suspension, gonna look into that after I do all of the fluids, forgot about a simple air filter.
Some moose must have broken some of the interior panel fasteners- the insides rattle a bit.
I'll look into the stage 0 stuff. Thanks dave
