Yes it might be a bad tune if it runs normal at stock tune.

I like to look at the easy obvious stuff 1st before I get all technical! Makes sense its the chip if the car runs like normal with the factory ECU program. Assuming all things being equal and normal!

Well, my man now is checking chip he made, we tried few new maps, few different setups for ecu, but the cse is the same: boost does not hold for more than a sec (no matter what was pressure tuned) And now ecu do not boost over the boost is set when 1.1 was set it boosted 1.1, now 1 - it boosts 1. But do not hold: after it reaches that limit, boost drops to 0.3, and again boost to limit, and again to 0.3 (with a different "tolerance" to overboost). and he says that issue is with all 2.3 T5's. New map creation is in progress.
Is ecu tuning for T5 such complicated case???

Well, my man explained, that in my volvo's software is somewhere ticked that my car has an automatic gearbox, so when I do flat out computer automatically reduces boost in order to escape huge coming torque to protect gearbox (as we all know volvo reduces torque in cars with automatic gearboxes). This problem is now being fixed. I do hope everything will be solved.

Well, I did not write about this issue. The problem is not solved (new program is not installed), but the case is found. I adressed this issue to guy who chipped my car. After remaping few times he noticed, that in my soft is marked that a car has automatic gear box (!!!), vin code aslo shows it. So ECM automatically reduces boost to save the gearbox...
