Problems with ECM
#21
I don't think it's related to battery, because sometimes it shows codes, sometimes not. And after lambda occurs I know it will stall.
So changed camshaft position sensor did not help. I appeared about after month. And now I have it in two days. Taking off ECM for few minutes helps. Earlier engine started and then stalled, no it do not start. After taking ECM off it work for few minutes and stalls. Taking ECM off for 5-10 minutes helps. DTC 1-4-3 front knock sensor and 1-1-2 fault in ECM occurs. 1-1-2 maybe because I have another code in A7. Or maybe it is related to stalling. But interesting thing is that after stalling it is unable to do diagnostics, because light is blinking and does not show any codes, after second stalling everything is Ok, DTC are shown.
Do anyone knows whether it can be that 1-4-3 front knock sensor can cause stalling? I bouhgt one to replace and after that I will look for effect.

So, I bought new ECM. It seems that problem was in old one, because code 1-1-2 was always found after it was being deleted.
But was is sad that it boosts no more than 0.4 bar (it is peak of boost then it is being dropped). What can cause it? Software? Because with old ECM there was no problems, boost of programmed 1.0 bar was always reached. So TCV and all hoses are ok. Earlier I tried few other ECMs, so one boosted 0.5 with peak at 0.7, another like this new - only 0.3 with a peak 0.4. If it is a problem of program, if I will put MBC, I will then probably get a fuel cut also on a 0.7bar line...

Well, interesting thing. With new stock T5 ECU 0261 200 549 there is low boost, adjusted wastegate to 0.3bar, it boosts only 0.4-0.5, sometimes gives overboost 0.7 for a part of a second. Then recorded T5R map 0261 203 626 (stock boost should be 0.8 for a while), boost doesn't change, sometimes boosts 0.3, sometimes 0.5, then again tried my chipped map, it boosts 1 bar. WTF?
Also trie to test TCV, disconnected hoses and connected air pump, while disconnected from a car it releases air from red and yellow pipes, when connected to car with turned engine - noting changed, but I think it should not release. But still, if it isn't working, it could not let boost with chipped ECU...
