Default Radio

We purchased two 850 Volvos. One had a low mileage engine but bad trans. The other bad engine great shape. We have just finished the engine swap and found the radio did not work. Upon inspection found the radio was unpluged. Pluged in and now the radio says CODE. Where do we find this code and how do we fix this problem. THANK YOU.[]

Yes, you can get the code from the dealer. It will not work unless you know the code. You can either provide the serial number of the car it was in orignally or the number on the radio. Call a dealer and ask them. I have an extra SC-810 radio/cassette player if you need one.
