Default Rattling from steeting wheel??

I just start getting a rattling noise that seems to be coming from the steering wheel only at speeds above 60mph. It's kind of like a vibration but I can't feel it, just hear it. I tried lifting up and down the steering wheel but that didn't help. When I slow down, the rattling stops. Any ideas? There's no problem with the steering itself and it's not coming from the vents or A/C.

It could be the notorious dashboard or something is still loose. Without having a look at it myself, I can only guesstimate.

See what others think.

You might need to be a bit more descriptive. Is it the steering wheel itself or from the steering column or the steering column area behind the dash

After installing my cruise control, I had a vibrating buzzing kind of noise from inside my steering column, it turned out I hadn't clipped the wiring plug back into it's cradle properly and it was vibrating against the side of my steering column shroud.....Maybe something similar?

I love the dash boards on these cars, they produce the weirdest rattles that only appear under specific circumstances. I had a noise that would appear at 45 mph that sounded like someone chewing gum very quickly... turns out it the noise originated from the rear of the car, a joint in the backrest. very frustrating to find the noise. Now I have a dozen dash related ones that keep me company day in and day out.

Turns out it was the weather stripping at the top of the windshield. I took it off, cleaned it up, and used some glue to snap it back in place. Problem solved. Thanks for the responses above.
