Got a 1994 850 Turbo Wagon 3 weeks ago 210,000 on the odometer for $550.00, Problems were smoke out the exhaust and the engine was covered in fresh oil. Previous owner said he had rebuilt the Turbo because of lots of oil in the intake system downstream from the compressor. He thought the head gasket was blown. Drove it for 2 days used 2 quarts of oil . Took the oil filler cap off while idling, minor blow by. Took the trim panel on top of the motor off and cleaned all the fresh oil off with gunk De-greaser and took it out for a spin leaving the trim panel off. When I came back after a couple of full throttle starts I found the breather tube blown completely off the head fitting. Installed new oil trap and it hasn't smoked or used oil after almost 1,500 miles of freeway driving with some city miles .
