Default Rear wheel speed sensors?

I have a code for a bad rear wheel speed sensor. It looks like you have to buy both. What kind of a project is the replacement and where is the connector for the wiring harness? The manual doesn't say a lot about this.

I bet its the ABS control module and not a sensor at all. Is it for the right rear?

Yeah, you are not alone. My ABS is also on and throwing my TRAC as well. I bought one speed sensor and I am probably just going to take a look at all of them and see the condition they are in. Sadly though he has a point. Most of the time it is the actual ABS module. The solder points become brittle and break. Since I intend to keep my T-5R for life, I will be fixing that as well!!

I've been working on Volvos for a long time and have only done maybe 3 wheel speed sensors. Each was physically damaged.

Oh yeah, rspi for one

There is also another person on another volvo forum that has made a little business out of it. I am sure someone else knows who I am talking about. I randomly stumbled upon a link to his website a short while ago.

I have tried to fix the Volvo modules a few times to no avail. I just send them to www.Midwest-ABS.com.

After looking at the web site I think that's what I'll do. The price for one repaired the right way is to good to pass up.

I just heard back from Mat at MidwestABS and the ones he carries won't work on a 95, they only start at 96.
