Reccomendation on BEST OBD2 scanner?
Hey gang,
Havn't posted in a while, but I'm about to do some major delayed maintance to my 1996T that now has 133K on the odometer. The CEL is on with the front o2 sensor code. I need to do the PCV system (smoking @ prolonged idle), the serpentine, and timing belt, and new plugs. So I'm looking forward to some serious fun in the garage soon.
I want to get my own OBD2 scanner- the software versions look great, but I only have Macs at home and no PC laptop to use. Does anyone have an opion on the best (for the money) scanner. FCP groton no loner sells one, and I was not sure about the one from IPD.
Thanks!

I myself like Actron but Snap-on also seems to make some HIGH-END (you know they add extra digit to every item they sell[8D]) monitor.

Many scanners only access engine & tranny. The ones with other systems accessibility (ABS, etc...) seem to cost a lot more.
