Okay, started to replace the headliner today. I cannot figure out how to disconnect the wires attached to the sun visors. Any ideas? I cannot find any connectors - are they hidden behind the dash???

I have removed the A pilars and cannot see them. I am guessing it is behind the dash?

They are way down there the best bet might be to cut the wires then but connect when you put back together. I did that to mine.
Or you can pull alof of the dashto get apart get to the plugs.

Also if you go the cutting way split the wires apart and cut one at a time or it will blow the fuse.

 

Holly cow, I think I'll cut and re-attach. Crazy that they are so far down in the dash, but this is my first headliner repair so maybe this is the norm. I saw video on youtube.com and the guy was working on a 99 v70. The plug on that one was not buried.
