Hi guys, just wanted to know if it's a tough task to repack the wheel bearings? does it require taking off the rotors and all that? thanks

If you are talking about the front wheel bearings then they are sealed bearings. You can not repack them.

Hey Tech, what's up? ya i was refering to the front but the rears too. I'm experiencing an odd thing...i don't know if it's due to the winter tires, but i noticed that when i'm taking a right curve there is some "howling" noise coming from the front tires...i was thinking that it might be a bearing or maybe need a wheel alignment?
thanks

Well the tires are 195/60/15...standard size but they do have bigger blocks than the summer ones...can that be it?

I think it is possible. I remember running snow tires many years ago and the wider tread caused a noise.

SNow tires are famous for causing road noise. An easy way t o tell is to swap the front and rear tires temporarily. If the noise goes away when turning, it is the tires

PSABOIC...ya i'll wait til the spring to change them and see...right now we have a snowstorm warning for about 20-25 cm of snow and this is the first year that it is obigatory (in our province) to have snow tires on your car...a real fiasco! hahaha ciao
