Reset check engine light

Hi everyone, does anyone know how to reset Check engine light on a 1994 volvo 850 non turbo.

I think maybe we should consider making the instructions for resertting check engine lights, pulling codes, and resetting the service light a sticky!

Hello,

I just tried doing what the link stated. I have a 95 850 GLT. When I pushed the button the light lit for every push. So 4 pushes, 4 light ups...this went on for the entire procedure. After the last "1"...the light did not flicker. We must have done this about 5 times....going a little slower, little faster, etc. We turned off the car between tries even.

Am I doing something wrong?

My light came on in the fall and when I took it to the shop, they said I had a mouse nest inside my air filter. No problems to date so now I'm trying to turn it off.

Any advice would be sooo appreciated!!
