Default Rims/Lowering 850 Turbo

Hey there, I have a 1994 Volvo 850 Turbo, I was wondering does the car look good with 17" or 18" rims without lowering it? Does anyone know if its better to go with 17' or 18"? I was looking at the replica R rims on IPD, I know there is a price difference in tires for the different rims but I wasnt sure if it was worth the money to go with the bigger rims? Also its a white car would black rims look good on it? Any pics with cars with rims lowered and not lowered would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for the help!

The car would look the same just with a bigger rim. If you want it to look more aggressive, you may want to consider lowering it.

I would also consider the condition of your roads in your area, if they're pretty rough, I wouldn't do 18's. IMO, doing rims without lowering the car looks kinda goofy. If your going to do wheels, do it right and lower it too.

Be careful too, I have 16's and I tag the fender well now and then.

That stance is prime tech. I kinda like it better with the stockers on it though.

On my t5r i have 18 x 8 inch rims and run a 215/40/18 inch tire. The car is lowered with Bilstein HD's and Eibach lowering springs. Car only rubs in front once in a long while. It doesn't do any damage. Their is a couple of pictures somewhere in the car gallery. Hope this helps.
