Default rip intercooler kit

has anybody ran the rip kit from ipd or eurosport and is it worth the money i need new intercooler hoses and was wonderen if it was worth the extra

I have not done it, but from reading this and other forums improvements that you gain are minimal. Worth the cost, probably not. Let others chime in.

That's the same things I have heard, it's mostly cosmetics. If you really want a RIP kit, do a custom FMIC. They are cheaper, it's not a direct fit and takes some time modding to make them fit, but a lot of people do that and the gains are way more than that of a RIIP kit by itself.

He welds all the pips but you can use silicone connectors and some good clamps. I will be putting one of these in my wagon.

I don't think a RIP kit is worth it, but if you want a slight performance gain, I think the FMIC is worth it, and it's half the price.

has any one used the samco hoses do they work really well just bought some i have a hose that has a hole in it so i hope they work

They are good hoses.
I need to get some soon myself.
Was hoping to find the ones I am missing but have been looking for months so I have to buy an entire set now.

Since they are silicone they don't compress when under boost.

Or expand, they probably wouldn't really compress under boost, since that wouldn't make sense. The don't compress under vacuum. That's better.
