IS SC-816 IS PLUG AND PLAY IN MY '96 850

I found a good working sc-816 w/ audio code. will this plug and play into my 850?

Hey now,

Plug it in and let us know what happens. It's not like the car is going to catch fire, at least I don't think so, and make you the spectical of the neibourhood.

Should work just fine. Just plug it in, put in the code and see what happens.

Yes the SC 816 will work. Basically the 816 is the gray version of the SC 815 (although some were made in black). The difference between the 811 and the 815/816 is that the 815/816 had a single CD player as well as the hook up for the CD changer and the 811 had only the hook up for the changer.
