Default Scavenging 850 technical questions

I'd greatly appreciate technical info on the following

Are the ECU modules the same for both 5 speed stick and automatic trans on the '93 850? Available ones are in a 5 speed car which I also have. There are only two in the box behind right side headlight. Is there a third one somewhere?

Also, is it useful to have an A/C compressor on hand if available for $20.00 (not known whether it works, but car was very well maintained).

Ditto power steering pump? I guess I'm asking, at what mileage do these start to fail?

Where's the master cylinder for the clutch in a 5 speed?

Is it worth pulling the 5 speed stick shifting base and cables? Cost is about $25.00. If so, how do I get the firewall plug out?

Do the heater cores leak in 850's at some point? Does the dash have to be completely disassembled to get them out? Can someone help with the link to remove dash pad and everything around it? I'd REALLY REALLY appreciate that.

Is there a tool to hold the plastic domed end of the stabilizer bar links while turning the nut?

If the rubber seal around a tie rod end (that looks quite new) is torn can it be used and somehow sealed?

How can I test the rack and pinion? How long do they usually last? My 850 has 152k.

Last of all, is it just me or is it impossible to pop the interior plastic trims off w/o cracking them?

Many thanks!
