Score! n/a cams for free
Got some n/a cams out of a car at the boneyard today from a car they were getting ready to crush. the chick didnt charge me for them.
Now for my question: when you're doing a timing belt, how much extra time is swapping the cams gonna add to the job?

I've done timing belts before, but never on an 850. Seems that theres quite a bit more room over there than I am used to though - my past experiences on timing belts have been on an acura integra, honda civic, and 300zx twin turbo. None of those were what I would call "fun"
The timing belt on the Volvo is not that hard at all. Taking the cams out isn't either, but both jobs are a little tricky. But if you've done that many timing belts, you should be fine. I don't do that much, but I could do both those jobs myself.
I'd say if your doing cams and the timing belt, it will probably take you quite a bit longer, since you need to remove the valve cover to get out the cams, and then thoroughly clean the mating surfaces before you put it back together.
