Hello, My abs & tracs light were starting to come on here and there, then the service light also came on. I did my own repair on the abs module following the instructions in the various links and was 100% successful at fixing the abs/tracs lights. the service light still comes on at start-up and persists for only 1-2 minutes. then it goes away for the rest of the trip. i have had over 20 re-starts since the repair. is the service light related to the abs lights that were on? any other ideas on why the service light would be on for only a short time after sart up? thanks for any help. it's an 1996 850 turbo wagon by the way.

 

No need to panic it is just reminder. You will have to go to dealership to turn it off

 

Or just purchase reset tools to DIY. You can find it on ebay.
