Volvo 850 Made from 1993 to 1997, this Volvo line was available in both a wagon and a sedan, both with were graced with several trim levels.

Should this vacuum hose be connected to something?

Pretty sure that just gets plugged into the vacuum tree.

a ha, found the open port on the top of the radiator!

Check just above the fan and under that black plastic strip in your picture there should be nipple without that hose on it there !
