Just bought a '97 850 and noticed that when I had the A/C on recirculate, I smelled oil. The car was sitting and I failed to check and see if I still smelled oil when I was driving - windows were up, if that helps. It's my first Volvo and I'd like to fix it up. Any help or comments will do (besides "you're a moron").

I know the rear main seal leaks a little, along with the valve cover, but anything else I should check into? Thanks for the help.

 

LOL, if you know the car has oil leaks, there lies your problem. Especially of oil is leaking back on the exhaust.
