Burnt Rubber smell from turbo.
So lately after driving for 10+ minutes, I have been getting an odor from behind my engine, assuming it is the turbo, that smells like burnt rubber.
And no, its not because of my tires. Even on days I just cruise I will get this odor. From inside the cabin it cannot be smelt but as soon as you get out of the car you can smell it.
So I popped the hood yesterday and smelt around the engine bay. I noticed the odor seemed to be coming from behind the engine. Any tips?

Good question! Probably about the same time but not completely sure.
And it's not like its just a whiff of odor then its gone. It lingers around for about an hour after the car is off.
You can really notice the smell when the car is parked in a closed garage. It stinks up the whole garage.
