Smell of burning rubber from my car?
1995 850 wagon, NA.... All week, after I get out of the car, I smell burning rubber by the rear driver's wheel. As I put my nose into the wheel the wheel well, I smell burning rubber. Not brake pad smell, but RUBBER. Any clues? There is 18" of snow out there and I really can't lie on my back to crawl under.
when you smell it are the rotors and calipers warm? i had a similar issue with a rear caliper sticking i smelled a little bit of rubber, as well as a little bit of brake, and my rotor was HOT and the caliper was hot, and the wheel was warm.
my car does the same thing but ive never noticed exactly where it comes from.. i thought that my car just burned a shot of oil on turnoff.. for me its normally after sometime on the highway.

Sounds like you have something rubbing the tire. I would take the tire/wheel off and see if there is any damage to the tire. If not, put the car on jack stands and see how the wheel turns. Maybe the caliper is rubbing or something.
Or you can do what GDog said and wait it out.
