Spark plug type
Is there a type that I should avoid? I seem to recall reading something in thread to stay away from copper type, or was it the other way around?

Thanks

I don't think you can wrong using OEM. They seem to last a very long time and they are no more expensive than any other premium plugs. On the Turbos I always use OEM and rarely change them. I defineitely have gone over 70K without changing.
All the different metals used in spark plugs are ment for different "temp" sparks. Use according to what you need. Stock ones are probably made the way they are for a reason.
Some cars love 99 cent cheapo coppers. Some cars love platinum.
My buddy that is huge into VW's has to use Silver plugs. (harder to find them most the more exotic metals for some reason) His car would eat copper and the pricey metals in short order. Silver were the ones that lasted.
Its nice when you go and buy a plug thats like 10 bux and then its gone in 100 miles... LOL
agains.. oem is oem for a reason.
