Default Type R or Type T????????

How can I find out what motor I have. People always ask, and I dont know. I have a 96 850turbo wagon and a 98 S70. I have a boost leak coming from the turbo where it connects to the hose that runs over the motor. The small piece of rubber hose that is clamped tothe turbo outlet and the hose that runs over the motor is leaking and looks like crap. Where can I get that small section of hose. It looks preety heavy duty, and I assume it is, being that close to the exhaust manifold. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The first way I tell an R apart from other volvos is the external cosmetics, but thats the obvious point. If your talking about an older R I have no idea good luck!

To find out what motor you have...you have to look for the Emissions label under the Hood (bonet) of your car.
Or you can look at you VIN and decode it here: http://new.volvocars.com/ownersdocs/...C/vic1996.html
You should have a B5234T.
