Hello there; Lately I replaced the instrument cluster to fix the broken odometer. Of course now I know I could have purchased the gear, but oh well! I wanted to drive the car before installing the dash and airbag so I could check the odometer. It worked. Forgot to turn the key on to put battery - lead back on to remove the air bag light, so now I sarted over and tried many times - bat. term off, then key on #2 and install, but still the SRS light stays on. Sooooooooo I cleared all the codes I had in A3 and now ofcourse my problem worsens by now having an ABS light on along with my SRS light! lol Any suggestions from any one? Thank you; Steve

 

Did you remove the entire dash pad?
Did you disconnect the passenger airbag?
Sometimes the ABS light won't go off till you drive about 20MPH.
