Stalling 1993 850
My daughter's car is stalling often. Sometimes she must wait a few minutes before it will start again. The dealer said to clean the throttle body which I will do when she comes home for Thanksgiving from college. It seems to me that this is not the problem, but iI'm not a mechanic. I have already replaced the fuel filters, changed the air filter, replaced the flame trap etc.
What about the idle control? I think this hangs off the engine in the front of the engine compartment. There are some hoses and a wire connection on it. this seems to get real hot.
Any help appreciated. i will only have two days to work on this before she goes back to college.
Thanks,
Joe

I would try to find a fuel pressure guage to put on it when she comes home. The fuel pump might be getting hot and not working at times. I had a couple of cars work the opposite. They would only do it cold. Also check the fuel pump relay.
For instructions on how to replace the fuel pump relay look at the following site:

It is relay #103 and is red.
