Recently found out that my Bosch Starter was bad.
Called up NAPA and they had one available.
Brought it home but now realize that it has more connections on it
then the old one.
2 screws - front one gets battery power, and alternator.
back screw (closest to block) has wire going to starter from solenoid.
1 - Top tab connector???
1 - Bottom tab connector???

I have a green ground wire to push onto one of these tabs, don't know which.
I also have a white wire (neutral/park?) and don't know where this goes???
Can't remember..

has anyone ran into this problem????

 

never ever buy from napa for your volvo...other than a tire guage maybe.their parts may be compatible but nowhere near oem quality

 

Match the tab to your old starter.
