ok my buddy has a 1993 850 GLT and had a starting issue tonight symptoms:

wouldnt start
kept reving but wouldnt kick over
battery signs were positive

Car:
158,000 approximately
no parts recently replaced to my knowledge
serviced in January
oil/fluids changed about 1000 miles ago


I think it is either the starter or ignition with my instinct going more to the ignition. His fuel pump was replaced about 10k ago so it isnt that.

His is a 1993 follow the link I posted and YOU pull the codes.
The OBDI box is under the hood.
His car has OBDI you don't need a scanner to pull the codes.
