Default Steering Wheel Swap?
If i wanted to swap a steering wheel from a newer V70 (or anything similar) would anything like this be possible into an 850?

The early S/V70 ones will work. The 01 and up cars use a dual stage air bag setup. That would be alot harder to swap.

would it bolt on? would the wires match up?

The newer wheel would bolt up. But the air bag has 2 plugs on the newer cars. Ours only has one plug.

will it throw a code if its not connected? could you split the plug into two?

It would not throw a code of the plug even fits into it. But the air bag may not work.
