Stock stereo switch outs???
I have a stock am/fm/tape stereo in my 93 850 and found a am/fm/cd system, in fantastic condition, out of another 850. Is this a very easy swap or is there any rewiring? Will the plugs just match up the same?
Thanks again for all the help.

It is an easy swap. Pull the old one out, unhook the wires from the old one, hook to the new one and reinsert. You will need the anti theft code from the new unit for it to work. If you don't have it you can get it from the dealer if you have the VIN code. That's the easy part. Is your new radio the SC 815 or 816 with the single CD player? If not (an SC811) you will need to add a CD changer. If in the 93's there was not a CD option then most likely you will need to run a wiring harness to either the glove box or the trunk to hook things up. That is where a little more work is involved.
