I have a 96 850 GLT white that I purchased for $2800 in California. The previous owner tought they had an electrical problem, but I needed only replace the battery and alternator which I did for less than $200. Anyway I have a quick question about a strange noise that I hear, primarily when turning and accellerating. It is a neeee neeeee neeeee sound. Has anyone encountered this?

I think I know about what you're talking about. My Indy couldn't find the problem (told me I was hearing things), so until it becomes worse, I figure it out, or effects my driving I will turn my radio up.

Try ludding the steering stops on the front of the lower control arms. It is a plastic peice. Just stick some grease on them.
