Default sub frame bushing

Anyone know how to tell if your sub frame bushing's are shot? I have the eng and trans out of car, and was looking over the eng bay. The car has over 300k on it, but they look fine. Just hate to but things back then have to change them down the road (major PINA from what I have read).

I never replace the bolts and never have a problem. Most sources say to replace them.

You can loosen the bolts one at a time and inspect the bushings.

I replaced mine recently. There is no real way to inspect it - I replaced them anyway. I had to cut the old bushings out. You may have to use a press to insert the new ones.
