Default Sun visor

Somebody broke the base plate of the drivers side sun visor in my 850. I got it to stay up but it's not really usable. Is it possible to just replace the base plate and if so, does anybody have a spare? When replacing the visor or base plate is there an easy way to rerun the wires or can I just splice them. As a last resort I assume I could just cut them?

I bought one from fcpgroton.com and I just spliced the wires. Take the fuse out first or you will blow the fuse like I did. Not sure what number it is now though. The one I bought did the same thing after about six months and fcpgroton replaced it for free.

I checked their site but couldn't find the part. Do they have inventory not listed on their website?

I replaced the mirror and light assembly only while leaving the original visor in place. The plastic assembly is held in by a press fit. Once removed (I used a screw driver to ease each side out) you can pull the original wires out of it and replace the wires in a new assembly. No cutting or splicing required.
