Default Swap B5254S engine for B5254FS Engine in 1996 850
I have a 1996 Volvo 850 with a blown engine. The engine is a B5254FS with air pump. I found a B5254S engine at a salvage yard. This has the same block and head (I think) and the same emissions. Can I put that engine in my car? I can swap some of the components from my B5254FS is need be.

It looks like the difference is in the engine management systems where the FS came with the Motronic 4.4 and the S came with the Jetronic 3.2...
