Default threaded wiper arm bolt

My drivers side wiper arm bolt is threaded so I cant tighten the arm back on.The motor is turning the bolt ok but I just can't fasten the wiper back on.

Any help would be appreciated thanks.

take the wiper arm off, and you will see some *groves* that are suposed to lock into the wiper arm, just take a pilers to them and FVCK them up a little and bur it a little bit. and put it back on. just the trick for me.

Thanks Tony but its the thread above those grooves that is threaded so I can,t get a nut to tighten the arm back on.

You have about 2 stud threads that are showing above the arm nut. You can place a washer between the arm and nut to tighten up the gap due to bad threads. Hope this helps.

Yeah I have tried that too but it must be those 2 threads that are bad.It is really annoying me that I can't fix such a simple little thing.
