Default throttle pedal has a mind of its own help please

hi i need help some times when i press the gas an let off the pedal goes down and car starts to take off with out me pushin the gas but if i push the brakes it stops but then starts again. i dont know whats wrong. help please

your throttle body is icing up, call your local volvo dealership and they should be able to fix it for you, there was a recall on 850's because of this.

Also make sure your hose at the throttle body isn't swelling holding the throttle open. I had it happen to me but then the hose blew.

EDIT thats if it is a turbo car.
