Default Tire

Okay.

The other day I had a tire go flat on me in the front (Front pass. tire).

I went to a junk yard and found a nearly new tire.

Its flat again today.

I know they did a bunch of suspension work before I got the car and the camber is way off because they never aligned it, but I drove on the old tire for a good while before I even had the first on go flat.

The rim has a slight bend but not enough to warrant THIS from happpening twice in a week.

What should I do?

But was the belts hanging out on the inside edge?

I didn't really look.

The tire wasn't off the rim and just appeared to be flat.

The other tire that I removed looked completely normal inside and out.

Also, I bought the car a month ago. I had no problems with the tires until Tuesday of this past week.

Take the tire to a tire shop and see if they can find anything wrong with it. Could be you just had the bad luck of picking up a nail or something in the same tire. Either that or you have some kids in your neighborhood that are messing with you <grin>

I did get a 225 though.

I didn't think that would be too wide. Wrong?

I hope not.

225 might work.

But if the tire looked pretty good I would check the valve stem and make sure that didn't blow. Or there is a hole in the tire from like a screw or something that you ran over and it came out while driving.

It appears my car is leaking coolant as well.

I think I tore a hose on ice or something.

UGH

Hey nothing else is down there that smacking on ice could cause a leak right?

I ordered a lower rad hose. hopefully that is all it is.

Radiator is cracked by the lower hose.

drips out right by the lower hose where the plastic tank meets the metal core of the radiator.

Anyone got a turbo radiator to fit my 96 wagon?

How hard is the radiator job?

It is kind of a pain and a little time consuming.
