Titan Wheels

Oh, did you guys know that I got a flat the other day? I washed the car, aired up the tires, took it around the block and when I got back my RF tire was loosing air like air brakes on a tractor trailer. So I pulled the wheel off and found that my tire was seperated where the tread meets the sidewall. The belt was showing and everything. So I looked and found a grove in the tread the entire circle of the tire. When I looked in the wheel well, I could see a rub spot on the inside of the well, on the front splash guard. Looks like it was rubbing the tire and it had 2 securing nuts missing. So I put on my spare and went by the stealer and go the 2 nuts ($1.68). Sad to think that less than $2.00 destroyed a tire. I get these f-n things rotated and balanced about every 2,500 miles so I hope the tire shop didn't see this and not say anything. There may also be a FEW other rub spots. The splash guard nut on the back side, the rear splash guard and another small spot on the front side. But the one spot where the front splash guard was loose was a very clear rub. Just can't imagine this wearing through the tire and not the splash guard. I guess the tire is a lot softer.
So, if I get 215's, they will have more problems rubbing, correct?

I guess it probably is full lock, which I do often. I had a 740 GLE and 2 960's and I love the tight turning circle that they have. The 850 sucks in comparision.
Just wanted to let the viewers know that I don't have a problem with the ride of the Kumho's or the size of the low profile tires. I expect a little harshness with a sport/sporty car, it's the cost that bugs me. Replacing tires because they have egg size bubbles on the sidewalls or changing flats because I forgot to check tire pressure weekly sucks.
