tranny problem, arrow flashing
Hello, I have recently come across a problem with my 850 Turbo. Driving along and all of a sudden the tranny arrow starts flashing, i come to a red light and it appears that the car is stuck in 3rd gear. I pull over, turn the car off and try to start it again, doesn't even crank. I switch from Econo to Sport, the car starts and seems to be running fine (even changing gears) but the arrow is still flashing. I pulled the code in A1 and I get 3-2-2 - Wrong Gear Value. I started the car again about an hour later and the arrow no longer flashes. I know i have a slowly approaching PNP switch issue as sometimes the car doesn't want to shift up a gear when its cold (and I have to move around the shifter). Any more details on 3-2-2? Thanks!

There is a 99% chance that your PNP switch is going bad. You can often temporarilyfix it by rowing the shifter from low to park, quickly, 15 or 20 times.
You may need to go back in and clear the faults in A-1 to get it to behave again.
If you get back to normal consider it a "shot over the bow" and deal with it soon.

Also, double check the ATF level. Codes 322/P0730-0734 seem to appear if the ATF is low. My 850 used to report the code for the ATF being 0.5QTY lower. After topping it up, the code never returned but I might have just been lucky.
Check fluid & go for PNP.
↓My 2nd reply has procedures for checking the ATF level unless you already know:
