Turbo Cylinder Head/on a non Turbo engine?
I had my timing belt break on my 850 non turbo. The cylinder head lost 8 valves.(Snapped off!)
I work at a Automotive school and we had a 94 850 turbo head. I figured it was worth a gamble.
I do know tht Turbo has lower compression. Anyhow it doesn't want to turn over.
Am I wasting my time with this or what?
Thanks for any help.

RE: Turbo Cylinder Head/on a non Turbo engine?
Hi RB,
Greetings from Yokohama.
I myself wouldn't have used a turbo head on a non-turbo but that's just me.
Can you manually turn the crank? Jack up the front end, let it sit on jackstands and take the right wheel off, and with a breaker bar, a long extension and a 32mm socket, try turning the crank pulley clockwise. Do this with the timing belt cover off so that you can see if the timing belt is driving the cam pulleys. If it does not turn, however, something in the bottom-end may have been damaged when the valves hit the piston, in which case a used engine may be the best alternative.
Wait till others jump in, they may have better ideas/solutions than I do.
