94 850 died and wont start
My car does not start now...This is the story of how it went down
I was heading for school in the morning and it was a chilly morning, so I went out and started it, put the defroster and heat on full blast (like I always do) then went back in the house, 15 minutes later (normal warmup time) I was going to leave for school, as soon as I opened the door and began to sit down the engine died. all the dash lights were on like it does when you turn the ingition to turn it on. So I wondered what the hell was going on, I tried to start it, nothing, no noise, but dash lights flicked on, so I tried again, this time, not even dash lights, NOTHING, not even a peep, so I grabbed my dads 2000 Honda Accord and tried jumping my car, no dice, but the second and third time I tried jumping I heard a sound, it was quiet sound but it sounded a bit like the car was trying to start, engine didnt make noise, just kinda like a deep click but only once or twice, nothing else.
Help! I will test the battery later today and try to fnd the problem, but can anyone else provide some insight?
Thanks!

Avoid franchise/cheap battery. They may be low on electrolyte, even if they are new.
I would go with Interstate Battery or equivalent. They are not cheap but well worth the money. I once bought a franchise battery and it died in less than a year due to low electrolyte.

$80 battery is a good one and Exide seems to be one of the major mfgs in the battery industry. Anything below $70 is a formula for disaster in my prejudice.
Keep the battery & posts clean, keep an eye on electrolyte level (when you do this, eye protection is a MUST) and you' re good to go for 3-5 years. I apply petroleum jelly on the posts to prevent corrosion, but any dielectric compound would do.

I bought one from AutoZone last November. It was low on juice the other day and I took it back and they gave me another battery no questions asked. Not sure if the battery was bad or the car is not charging properly. I'm not sure of the brand, but it was right around $70, maybe a little less.
