My of turbo hose crack and i call the dealer and they want $110.00 another dealer wants$98.00 are they asking for a lot of money
or this is a right price it?

You should replace ASAP.

 

I am relatively new to Volvo(s). Is this hose is between air filter box and intake manifold -- correct?

If so, there are several problems with this leak...

1) Running under boost, air will leak out -- not enough air to mix with fuel -- air/fuel mixture will be too rich.

2) Running without boost, air will leak in -- too much air to mix with fuel -- air/fuel mixture will be too lean.

3) When air is leaking in, this air is NOT filtered -- dirt will get into engine, damaging piston rings and cylinder walls.
