Default turbo power indicator arrow on the dashboard

It is second day, my turbo power indicator arrow on the dashboard is standing in the middle, as if the engine is turned off.

Turbo is working, but the indicator is failing to move, what might be the cause of the stucked arrow?

Thanks

it could be a gauge failure.

it could be the vacuum line from the engine bay to the back of the boost gauge came off.

it could be a hole in the vacuum line from the engine bay to the boost gauge.

You'll have to remove the dash cover to access the back of the intstrument cluster to verify that the line is still attached.. you should be able to test it once it's accessible with a piece of vacuum line and few pounds of suck.
if the gauge works, then its in the engine bay or the line.

whichever it may be, it might be a good idea to install an aftermarket boost gauge now so you can have accurate boost readings...

There is a t under the dash you can check.

Also under the hood there is a white plastic hose or black hose that feeds the turbo gauge check it as well.

after the gauge went off, now i am having problems with turbo itself.

when boosting, the turbo fails, or the automatic gear box is failing to respond to the turbo boost.

i don't know what to blame.

yesterday i had the car to check the elignment, and there was oil leek from one of the hoes underneath the engine.

Do you get a good amount of boost then it stops?

If it is not boosting then the turbo is not working for some reason.

today i checked my car on computer,

computer found 1 fault in automatic transmission;

and 5 faults in engine all deriving from problems in the third piston. i don't know what kind of problems are these - could it be the spark plugs or spark wires?
