It's 2.25" piping, there isn't room in front to get past the alternator and everything with larger piping. And the intercooler itself is 28x9x2.75. And yeah, it's the ebay CXracing kit.

Update:
Axles back in last night and the car finally sitting back on the ground:
Holy wheel gap. Can't wait to get this on the road so it settles back down.
And did the passenger side e-brake today. New everything. Was hoping to get the driver's side done as well, but being my first time and then realizing that the shoes or the cables have never been replaced before, the passenger side cable had broken at the mount after it comes out of the car, not allowing me to move the inner-cable to undo it from the e-brake mechanism, so I had to cut if off. I eventually got it, but it took longer than hoping.
And the old....really really old.

Fresher. It's from a 95 w/o EGR and only has 100k miles.
Ugh, me either. Don't get me wrong, I love working on it, but I'm ready for it to be finished.

The e-brake is all finished up, I think I have to adjust the shoes a little bit though, I have the adjuster bolt for the lever tightened all the way. Is that normal to have to adjust the shoes a bit after installation? They're as "tight" as they can go on the hub, as in that little adjuster on the hub is shortened all the way.
And the 28 fits fine in there length wise. It fits perfect between the to radiator support thingies on the frame, but you have to cut out of it a bit for the height wise, which means cutting off the middle radiator support thing and shortening it. But it fits. That's on my to-do list for tomorrow night.

OK, I'll adjust them tomorrow or this weekend. And I'll take pics of the front mount install. The intercooler should be mounted tomorrow night, and depending how ambitious and how much I get done, hopefully completely installed.

Yes. My Dad and I were questioning the forks travel distance before we put it in, then I check vadis and I found out that there is supposed to be the ball seat, but it said for 1996+ models, but after talking to people on VS, everyone recommended putting it in. So I decided that I should. It's being over nighted to my Volvo dealership, will be here in the morning. Oh well, it is what it is.
I think I set a new record for myself though. Took 32 mins each to pull the axles, and only about 15 minutes to pull out the engine. Not bad if you ask me.
