Default unusual sound

Noticed an unusual sound sometimes when accelerating. Sounds like a chauffed vacuum cleaner. but not very loud. To me sounds like a rubber hose being sucked in and restricting air. any ideas? car doesn't drive any different.

Check the hoses to the intercooler and the throttle body.
If they are really soft then most likely they are sucking closed while in boost.

P.S. I would have thought the car was gone by now.
I guess you didn't find a buyer yet?

Okay, I will check for softened hoses. Is that a common problem? no one wants to give me what I want for it so F it. Might as well keep it. I just need to fix that bushing. Found an a/c line on car-parts.com for $20.

It is kind of a common problem on turbo car at sometime with age.
Also check the one at the throttle body good and make sure there is no holes in it.
