My daughter is rapidly approaching driving age and the economy being what it is I have started rebuilding my old 850 Turbo sedan as her first car and a spare for the wife and I.

I had torn down an engine from a C70 and at one point intended to build a performance motor for the car and have some fun with it. That got put on the back burner and now I am just doing a relatively stock rebuild.

I had all the valves, springs, etc put aside on a rack and they have been just fine in a corner of the garage for about a year and a half. Recently, some feral cats from the neighborhood found their way into my garage and knocked the rack onto the floor.

I have searched High and low and managed to find all the valves, springs the upper and lower spring seats but I am missing about a half dozen of the keepers.

I cannot find these anywhere online. Anyone have a part# or can hardened aftermarket keepers be found/used?

 

The PN is 9454613 Valve cotter. Volvo # 9454613 they are pretty cheap new ...
