Default Vibration While in Gear

When the car is in any gear (not Park or Neutral), there is significant vibration coming into the cab of the vehicle.

I just replaced all the motor mounts except the top 2. Previous owner added the poly bushing for the top engine mount. Could this be causing all the vibration? The other top (firewall) mount looks to be in good shape.

I have not flushed the tranny, and dont know when it was last done. Planning to do it soon.

Mounts. If you changed the lower mount at the front of the motor behind the right front tire, the poly mount is causing the vibration. Which mount is there? The blue IPD mount?

Pictures would be very helpful.

If you replaced a lower mounts it's very likely that upper mount is now loaded or has weight on it. Try adjusting it three ways. In neutral, on flat ground loosen it up at both bolts and tighten it down. If it's still vibrating try the same in drive and then in reverse. One of the three should get you a fairly vibration free ride. I have the poly upper mount and have had no problems with vibration.

No, its a green-ish color. Not sure where it came from, previous owner had it installed.

When you say "at both bolts", you mean the both the pieces ie at the firewall and at the engine?

Thanks!

You can try just the big easy one and see if that works. It should do the trick.

If not and you are still having a problem I'd try to loosed the one at the firewall and the one above the engine both. That way you know you have that mounting arm as "neutral" as possible.

If that doesn't work for you pm me and I'll buy the mount from you and ship you a new upper OEM mount.
