Default Volov T-5 Wheels for my 850-what is your opinion

My '96 855 T needs another set of wheels for my upcoming summer. I have decided to use my current 16" Columbias for my winter tires. Been looking for the right deal on a cool set of Volvo 16" wheels.

These just came available. They are off a '98 Volvo V70. Claims they were the T-5 option. Is sthe guy correct?

Also they are to be in pretty good shape. Will look at on Sat. He wants $200 for 4 wheels with worn tires. Not concerned about the tires.

Am interested in your opinions if these wheels are a good choice or should I hold out for a different style?

Looking for suggestions.
Thanks

I mean, they'll fit, but they're the exact same wheel. Why not get something not small and at least somewhat a different style than the Columba?

They're practically the same wheel. I used to be a crazy car nut growing up but one thing I never noticed was the 98+ S70 T5's wheels were cosmetically different than the 850 T5 wheels until after I got my car 2 years ago.

That being said, why not switch it up a bit, but $200 is good for a set of wheels and tires.

My personal opinion is you should either get them because you can get a deal on them and you like them or you should pass and get something else you like more. Unless you really like them and it doesn't matter if you can get a deal or get something else if you can get a better deal and you like them just as much or more.

What do you think would look better on your car. The ones in the picture or something else ??

Well I do like the look of the Tethys on Boxpin's car. Columbias are not bad. Boxpin and I have the same color car.
Boxpin, what did you do to make the blue look so good? Is that a recent paint job or do you yourself use a claybar or ??? to get the color to look so good. I need to do something like that to mine. Please let me know.

They didn't come on S80s. 01 S60 T5s.

Tethys are good wheels, strong and solid. I had them for a year or so and then got rid of them. Be prepared to clean them daily as they get dirty REAL quick.

Gilber33, so if you got rid of them, what did you replace them with?

Also, are the Tehys 16" wheels?
And are the T-5 wheels strong wheels? I thought I read some time ago here that either that wheel or some other wheel is soft and prone to damage easily. Anyone comments?

Tethys are 17s. Yeah, Perfos (X70 T5 wheels) are fine wheels. I just think it's pretty pointless to buy Perfos when you already have Columbas if you're looking for a new/different wheel when there's so many wheels.

Canistos and Titans (both 17s) are softer wheels known to bend easily.

And the Tethys are being replaced with staggered 17x8.5 and 17x9.5 BBS RS which I'm in the process of restoring for the Spring:

So here is my plan. My Columbia's have gotten some good axle grease stains since I lost my boots and the car thru axle grease from the CV joint. Soon that is all being replaced, along with new springs(all 4 corners), tie rod ends, left lower control arm (bad ball joint), adding rear sway bar and a front brake job (rear already done).

Since my Columbia's are stained I place a set of Nokian Hakkapeliitta's 4 all around as my snow wheels.
So I am looking for a new set of wheels for my upcoming summer wheels. I do want to stay stock with 16" as I go camping.
So I came across this set and I am considering. I also would look at another option, but only in 16". So suggestions are welcome as to good looking wheels.
Here are some from a wheel guide I got. Please comment:
Castalia
Ceres
Telesto
Xenia
Zeus
Sirus

How about the Volans? Thats the stock wheel from the 850r, and what I run on my wagon in the summertime. I got them online (set of 4) for about 480 shipped.
