all I was saying was to post it in the 850 section... You posted it in forum issues or something at first.. That was my only point.. And yes I am an A-hole but by birth not by choice...
The end caps sometimes need some encouragement to come off but they do come off, If you dont have replacements for them I would NOT try to remove them cause they usually get destroyed when pulling them off..
The o-rings, spacers and seal you speak of can be found at Napa locally for about $3 to $5 for the kit spacers and all here is the link ----> Store Locator | NAPA Online
and or ---->Store Locator | NAPA Online
or
FCPGroton online but its only the o-rings ---->1993-1997 Volvo 850 Fuel Injector Seal Kit-contains upper and lower o-rings
You can also get the kit from the dealer but they most likely WONT have it in stock. the part number for the volvo kit is----> 1346393

seal kit and ends.
The o ring seal kit i got has a yellow washer, two o rings and a blue plastic cap looking thing. what is the cap for?
Also, I was having problems fuel spraying all over my engine compartment and replaced all the o rings but not the yellow washer. the nozzle end of one of the injectors was loose. would this be the cause of the leak?
Where could I find a set of the seat seals. I have not been able to find a replacement for one that was missing. The injector with the loose tip was the one with the missing seal. someone at some point used heater core hose to make another seat seal.
any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

I had my injectors out last week on the '94 and really there was only two O rings involved. One on the top and one on the bottom. Most Bosch injectors have the pintle caps but on my '94 (yellow injectors) there were none.
The last injectors I had out before that was on my daughter's old Porsche 944 and they definitely had the pintle caps and the replacement caps were a bear to get on.

There is definitely a yellow washer on the bottom of the injector and it definitely wont fit over the lip on the nozzle end.
The real problem is the end being loose on the Injector. I will take some pictures and post them tomorrow so everyone can see what I am talking about.

I understand the concern about the loose end but usually it's just a matter of using a little Vaseline on each of the two O rings and muscling them in.

Here is a picture robbed from unnamed parts site to show what I am talking about.
The black and white one looks more like my injector, Bosch part. Note that the nozzle tip on only one of my injectors is loose, not disconnected just loose.
This color image shows the blue cap that i have in my o-ring kit. this is not a bosch injector though. You will also see the yellow plastic washer in both. This washer will not slip over the tip on my bosch injector.

The mystery is can you replace the yellow washer? how? does it involve removing the metal stock tip and replaceing with the blue plastic one? OR Does it matter because the issue was actually the rusted out fuel pressure regulator?
I guess I'llk be sending that new injector back to the parts guy.
