You Sir, should not be messing with an airbag system until you learn a little more about them and Ohms, Resistance, impedance, etc. That question has hung you out to dry.

Boxpin? Im trying to get more knoweledge on this subject. That is the nature of the post. If you arent prepared to be of service, then please stay off my thread. I did not ask, nor would i like your opinion. Please be helpful. thank you kindly sir or mam.

And he is trying to keep you from injuring yourself with an explosive device.
But since Boxpin can't come on your thread I did find that Volvo makes a resistor part #988-8695. Hope that's helpful, don't want to get kicked off too
3) Remove 2 Torx No. 30 screws from rear of steering wheel.

. Pull air bag module away from steering wheel just enough
to disconnect wiring connector. Install SRS (Special Test Resistor)
(988 8695) in place of air bag module to prevent generation of fault
codes. See
Fig. 8
