Does anyone know where I can get whiter bulbs for my Volvo 850? It's a '95. I'm looking for a good mix of whiter/brighter light and a good price. If anyone has any good experience with any kind of bulbs, any recommendations or reviews are appreciated.

 

Sylvania Superstar is a good choice for performance and appearance. If its right, some model year uses 9006 type of bulb.I currently have a pair of S Superstar in my Z. I dont recall if Sylvania Superstar has the H type bulb. hope this will help.</P>

 

avoid the 'super white' or 'diamond blue' colored bulbs,most are actually a tint over a regular halogen capsule, and aren't as bright as stock.... I have wagner(?) xenon bulbs (standard wattage (65/55 ?)) in my '89 240, and have been impressed by the difference they make over plain halogens. they are claimed to be 20 or 30% brighter, and they are definitely less yellow in output spectrum.</P>
